Ilana is committed to helping others in ways to approach each individual experience in a calm and present way.
Ilana believes that without a sense of humor, people lose a sense of freedom and diminish their capacity to play. Individuals spend too much time doing what they think they are supposed to be doing and not taking time to do what they enjoy. We need to delineate time every day to play, be still and quiet, and to listen to what is going inside ourselves.
Ilana’s philosophy is that all children and families should have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of experiences that encourage growth and individuality. She believes in a home environment that focuses on kindness, while providing children with exposure to the intersection of the arts, music, sciences, and mindfulness experiences. Ilana envisions the home environment as a space that empowers individuals to be confident, successful, lifelong learners.
Ilana encourages young individuals to explore, investigate, and fulfill their natural curiosity about the world around them. Her goal is to help each person to flourish as an individual, while also reinforcing positive relationships and behavior, so that ultimately every person develops into a confident member of a community. People develop at their own pace and can learn that life is an unending adventure that cultivates a lifetime of discovery.
Ilana is inspired by the importance of the spiritual and emotional qualities that individuals bring to their experiences. Many people say she walks the talk and strives to find ways to use humor and balance throughout her work. Ilana has many assets that form her unique perspective which integrates wellness and learning. She is an innovative Parent Coach who works to bridge the gap between children and families.
